Businesses were nominated by their patrons, before entering into the competition.

Judges have now chosen the winners and all will be announced during the awards dinner on Saturday night.

Gulgong RSL manager Wayne McEvoy said there would be 11 awards given out before the Business of the Year was announced.

“It is shaping up to be a sensational night, a very big one with tickets being booked fast. For only $25 it is a very good night out,” Mr McEvoy said.

Three judges were chosen to make the final decisions.

“Three people who live outside the Gulgong area but are involved in business have been chosen as the official judges,” Mr McEvoy said.

While also hearing the winners announced, guests on the night will be treated to guest speaker Bon Ansett in a question and answer session before the travelling show Kenny Bennett and Child Bride come on stage.
