Police briefs for November 18

Assault

- A 17-year-old male was arrested following the alleged assault of his mother with a knife at Kandos.

The alleged incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The victim received minor lacerations to her hand.

- Inquiries are continuing in relation to the assault of a 16-year-old female outside a local licensed premise in Market Street Mudgee about 9.30pm on Thursday, November 5. As a result of the attack the victim received minor injuries.

Stealing

- A white letterbox was stolen from a residence in Gladstone Street Mudgee.

The theft occurred between 4.30pm and 5pm on Sunday November 15.

- An amplifier and two sub-woofers were stolen from the boot of a vehicle at a local car retailer in Mudgee. The theft occurred between 6pm on Tuesday, November 10, and 8am on Wednesday, November 11.

- Thieves removed four mag wheels from a 2009 silver Holden Commodore sedan.

The vehicle was parked and unattended on Sydney Road Mudgee.

The theft occurred between 3pm on Thursday, November 12, and 8am on Friday, November 13.

- Gates from a property on Cafes Road Crudine were stolen between 6pm on Tuesday, November 10, and 10am on Wednesday, November 11.

The gates are cream in colour and have the property name in the pattern of the fence.

The gates form an arch when they are closed together.

Malicious Damage

- Vandals have damaged a solar light attached to a garden fence of a residence in Gladstone Street Mudgee.

The damage occurred between 10pm on Saturday, November 14, and 9.30am on Sunday, November 15.

- A timber collection box was removed from the Anglican Church in Market Street Mudgee and later found.

The theft occurred between 9.30am and 2pm on Saturday, November 14. No money

was stolen.
