Around 3pm a veranda on a house at Razor Back near Cherry Tree Hill caught alight.

There was minor damage from fire and water to the property with firefighters extinguishing it quickly.

In a separate incident around 11pm on Saturday night, police and firefighters were again called to a property in Ulan. An older house was completely destroyed by the fire.

No one was hurt in either incident and police investigations into the cause of the fires will continue.
