The ten-hole Mulligan Stableford held on Wednesday to celebrate the vice-captain Dara Birchall’s “Wonderful Pink Team” vs vice-president Frances Hodges’ “Beautiful Blue Team” day was a great success.
Blue Team prevailed on the day with Lisa McDonald showing the way with 26points. Kathy Gallard shone for the Pink Team with 24points.
Saturday’s Stableford attracted 23 players and three of those players took the opportunity to show their golfing wares.
Sylvia McGregor won A Grade with 39points beating Julie Headley on a count-back.
Alison Barker also had 39 points to win B-grade with Joan Campbell in second place with 33points.
Lisa McDonald with 31 points won C-grade followed by Sue Bartyn with 28 points.
Nearest the pin winner on the 11th was Val Heferen in A-grade.
Tomorrow will be a par event with nearest the pin on the fourth.
Wednesday will also be a par event with nearest the pin on the 17th and the CRT longest drive on the third.
The draw for the Rita Price 4B Match Play Knockout is on the locker room notice board. The first round is to be completed by November 4.
Finalists in the Eye Care Shootout to be held on November 8 are Sylvia McGregor, Gillian Pirie, Michelle Rhodes, Joan Campbell, Helen Cox, Cathy Cox, Kay Gaffney, Kate Purcell, Di Walker, Trudy Delarue and Kathy Underwood.
