Score an ace and drive away

Score an ace and drive away

Golfers attending Cudgegong Valley Public School’s (CVPS) annual charity golf day on November 29 will have an extra incentive at hitting a hole-in-one on the seventh hole.

Not only will you be the toast of your mates and the club, but you will drive away in a brand new Mitsubishi Lancer courtesy of Mudgee Mitsubishi at Ross Granata Motors.

The chance of winning a new set of wheels has always been one of the highlights for the annual golf day and this year will be no different.

The money raised will go directly to CVPS, which will be used to purchase up to date educational materials such as electronic whiteboards and reading material.

CVPS Principal Glenn Stewart said all proceeds would go towards improving the facilities at the school.

He said it was important to purchase equipment, which gave the students the opportunity to fulfil their potential.

Ross Granata Motors dealer principal Ian Jones said there would be a multitude of prizes up for grabs including the Mitsubishi Lancer.

The event is a four-person ambrose, so get together a team of four or alternatively put your name down and Mudgee pro Mark Delaney will organise a team for you.

Cost is $30.00 per player, which also includes a barbecue lunch.

For registration please contact Mark Delaney at Mudgee Golf Club on 63722686 or alternatively the reception at CVPS on 63723466.
