Transport for NSW said today that following consultation with Mid-Western Regional Council and other community representatives, Transport for NSW was planning to grant the licence for the Mudgee to Sydney Route to Vincent Aviation.
Vincent’s licence for Mudgee is pending the Civil Aviation Safety Authority adding the Mudgee route to the airline’s Air Operating Certificate.
Air services to Mudgee, Cobar and Narrabri ceased in December after Brindabella Airlines went into receivership.
Transport for NSW has also today awarded Vincent Aviation an exclusive four-year licence to operate the Sydney to Narrabri air route.
Transport for NSW is currently accepting applications for services connecting Sydney with Cobar and Cooma and encourages interested operators to come forward.
