The Mudgee Aero Club have lined up an amazing array of pilots, aircraft and aerial acrobats for the bi-annual event that gets higher, faster, louder and tastier each year.
Like years past, Wings, Wheels and Wine is an amazing day out for the whole family filled with amazing jet aircraft, spectacular aerobatic displays, vintage, exotic, custom-built and racing vehicles, a classic collection of motor cycles, 4WD action and some of the tastiest wine and food exhibits this side of the Blue Mountains.
Attractions this year include RAAF Roulettes, an S211 Jet, fire fighting with a bomber demonstration, the Daihatsu Jet Car, Pitts Special Pilot Paul Bennet, the Wirraway Display, an Avenger Handling display, a Paraglider Aerobatic display, a Yak52 Aerobatic display pilot Tim Windsor a race between a Pitts Special and cars and bikes, adventure flights in an Antonov 2 and much, much more.
There will be wine tasting for some of the region’s most well-loved wineries, a jumping castle and merry-go-round for the kids and plenty of stalls and food outlets to keep patrons happy throughout the day.
Gates for the 2014 Wings, Wheels and Wine airshow will open at 9.30am on Sunday, April 27.
There is plenty of on-site parking at the Mudgee Airport and tickets are $5 per family, $20 for adults, and $10 for children aged between six and 16. Children under five are free with a paying adult.
