Amber won the first prize of a $500 fuel card in the Friends of Lifeskills raffle drawn on Tuesday.
But when Friends of Lifeskills members and Lifeskills clients gathered to present Amber with her prize, she announced that she would like to donate the fuel card back to Lifeskills for its own use.
The gesture was gratefully accepted by Friends of Lifeskills who regularly fundraise for items that will assist the Lifeskills clients.
Friends of Lifeskills thanked their supporters their ongoing support, Big W for taking care of the ticket sellers, Squeakers for its donation and Amber for her generosity.
All money received from the raffle will be used to set up the Respite Rooms in the new Southside Centre.
