Surrounded by their friends and families, Loreta Fontolan Bitteler, Joanne Chiang Kenny, Naveen Kumar Kokkula, Dermot Gerard Lanigan, Catherine Niamh O’Neill, Fiona Anne Pinder and Sugandha Suri accepted their certificates of citizenship from Mayor Des Kennedy.
2014 is the 65th year of Australian citizenship, which first came into effect on January 26, 1949 with the introduction of the Nationality and Citizenship Act 1948.
