Representatives from Dragon Boat NSW will be in Mudgee on Saturday and Sunday (April 26 and 27) to see how the local club is progressing and to do some more training with them.
They will have the dragon boat on the Cudgegong River in Lawson Park, Mudgee, (adjacent to the children’s play area) from 12pm on Saturday and from 9am on Sunday of the weekend.
On Saturday, a barbecue, run by the Mudgee Lions Club, will be held with all of the money raised to go towards the club.
Dragon boating is a family friendly sport for all levels of fitness with the only restriction being that you must be 12 years of age or older.
You don’t need to be an athlete to participate just have a sense of adventure and a good time.
The local club are hoping to see lots of enthusiastic paddlers (both old and new) on the Cudgegong river this weekend.
