Some points of discussion from the night:
- There is a stop watch for open day speakers. They have always had 5 mins but looks as though it will be monitored well.
- Bev Smiles now has the floor. Talking about what Wollar community still owns. Says Peabody have been relentless.
- Cr Esme Martens, former Wilpinjong #CCC member, asks Bev if former issues have been resolved. Bev: No.
- Wollar resident Amanda Chetcuti, last private owned landholder in Wilpinjong's noise management area. Said black dust on roof and in house.
- Agnes Nordmann on the floor now re: old Gulgong hospital. Proposing it be restored over two stages, not demolished.
- Joan Tamburini says an old Hospital at Peak Hill is being restored, not demolished. Apparently both buildings about same age.
- Ann Doran is straight up, asks Councillors have they been to UK & Europe. Four or five have. Then talks about their restoration.
- Jane Roberts now speaking in objection to Cr Max Walker's proposal for a $150k stable at his Mudgee property.
- Discussion on skate park shows support. Motion carried by all councillors.
- Old Gulgong Hospital. Cr Cavalier motioned to save it, not demolish.
- Cr Kennedy brings some order to move this discussion along. Not going on tangents about ownership. Voting whether to or not to demolish.
- Long discussion about the objection to Wilpinjong mod. It is being considered not to object but still raise Council 's concerns.
- That's a wrap as @MWRCouncil goes into closed session. Hope you enjoyed our coverage as well as the live stream.
