Brothers3 and their fans have never been quite as thankful for a wildcard.
After brothers Shardyn. Tayzin and Makirum were told they hadn't made it through to the top 12 on The X-Factor by coach Danni Mingoue, the local act were given one last chance for redemption after being picked as a wildcard entry into the competition.
The wildcard is exactly as it sounds – coaches picked one of their eliminated contestants to be given a second chance to re-enter the competition and join the top 12 acts live on stage come Sunday.
The wildcard winner will be determined by viewer vote – which means it's time to get on the phone or pull out your mobile if you want to see Brothers3 reach the live shows and showcase their many talents to the nation.
Brothers3 were joined by Jesse from the under-25 boys, Ryan from the over-25s and Alice from the under-25 girls in the wildcard battle and will be looking to the Mid-Western region and their loyal fans to help them get through to the competition.
As soon as the announcement was made, viewer's took to social media to gain support for their favourite contestant in the wildcard battle, with many viewers urging their friends and followers to vote for Brothers3.
Should Brothers3 make it through they will join under-25 boys Adrien Nookadu, Tee, and Dean Ray, under-25 girls Sydnee Carter, Caitlyn Shadbolt, and Marlisa Punzalan, over-25s Jason Heerah, Reigan Derry, and Rochelle Pitt, and fellow groups Trill, Girl Band and Boy Band in the top 13 live shows.
To vote for Brothers3 to make it to live shows, call 1902 557 504 or sms Brothers3 to 1977 8888. Voting closes at 10am on Thursday, August 7.
