The students moved around nine different stations focusing on skipping and healthy movement.
There was Double Dutch and Long Rope skipping in the hall, sack races, skipping relays, circuit, endurance, skipping with a partner, trick skipping, and the most docile station where they learned about heart health.
The school’s online fundraising has raised around $2,500, but a final figure is yet to come with the student’s individual sponsorships still to be counted.
Jump Rope For Heart was also chosen by the school for its health benefits, including improving fitness, coordination, balance, posture and agility, creativity and working with friends, and giving the opportunity to learn about heart health.
