Nineteen swimmers competed at the Orana carnival in Dubbo with a total of 13 firsts, 11 seconds and 10 third placings.
Alyisha Beckingham and brother Luke both broke 200-metre breaststroke records and Macy Morley broke the 100-metre backstroke record.
Morley was unlucky not to include the 50-metre freestyle, 50 backstroke, and 50 and 100-metre butterfly which she missed by split seconds.
Alyisha was the pick of the Mudgee swimmers, coming home with four firsts and two seconds. Thomas Smith collected three firsts and one third; Luke Beckingham swam three firsts, one second and Macy Morley placed first three times, one second and one third.
Other medal winners were Kylie Campbell, Mel Campbell, Jayme Muscat, Charli Hayes, Jed Hayes, Kasey Hayes and nine-year-old Liam Hollis who was third in the 50-metre backstroke.
On Saturday, eight swimmers travelled to Cowra for a two day meet with great results competing in the strong Mountains and Plains District.
There were no records on show but Luke Beckingham was four seconds off his 200 individual medley personal beast and three seconds from his 200-metre breaststroke time. Thomas Smith was five seconds off his 200IM and was impressive.
Macy Morley, suffering from a virus, was below her best but still managed seven firsts and a second.
Luke finished with four firsts at Cowra, Alyisha with three. Kylie Campbell had three wins, Thomas Smith two and James Newell and Melissa Campbell one first place each.
Bronte Clifford also competed in 400 and 200m freestyle, the 200IM as well as the 50m event and looked comfortable at the longer distances.
On Sunday 10 junior swimmers attended the carnival in Narromine and with the disrupted training they have had showed plenty of promise.
Ethan Robertson collected two thirds in the freestyle and butterfly, Xanther Forrester also placed with two thirds in the 50m backstroke and freestyle. Eliza Pirie placed third in 50m backstroke. Emily Copps collected a seven-second personal best in the 100-metres freestyle and Elijah Robertson knocked three seconds off his PB in the 50m backstroke, all impressive.
