In this case, council continues to work closely with a number of stakeholders as due process is followed.

The Office of Local Government has recently resolved that council does not need the Minister’s consent to transfer ownership of the Museum to the incorporation.

The investment that council has made in the Kandos Museum demonstrates the whole community’s commitment to the museum’s future success, and is in line with the passion the community has shown for this highly valued facility.
Council is looking forward to seeing how the Kandos community will shape the future of the Museum.
