Australia’s king of Reggae loves coming to Kandos and he and his band are primed to put on a fabulous show this year. The festival kicks off at 12 noon with markets and plenty of great food. Also appearing at this year’s festival for the first time will be another fabulous Reggae singer Drewz who sings Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Maxi Priest and UB40. This is a performer not to be missed.
Back again too are crowd favourites Kings of Congo, belting out mass rhythms on their drums and stirring the crowd with their Reggae and African beats. Other artists will also be added to the program.
The festival will be held on the green in front of the Kandos Railway Station with the stage set up in front of the Men’s Shed, allowing plenty of space for dancing and grooving to the music.
It’ll be a fabulous day of great entertainment so put on your dancing shoes, let your hair down and come along. Help support this unique festival. It’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face. For more information, contact Sue Honeysett at Down the Track Café in Kandos.
