Teams were split into two pools, as the weather warmed up so did the competition.
The playoffs were well contested and played in good spirit, with the final match of the day seeing Macquarie Valley play Wests for the trophy with the final result was a one-all draw.
All prizemoney for the day was donated to a worthwhile cause - Mudgee Hockey’s ongoing commitment to provide coaching and support to the Samoan Hockey Federation.
The tournament was considered a success, with the club signing up many new members both junior and senior on the day.
On the back of this success, the club hopes to build and expand this tournament into the future with Mudgee Hockey thanking to all those people who volunteered their time to make this such an enjoyable day for all.
