Conference and friendship day in Wellington
Members of VIEW Clubs from Dubbo, Wellington and Mudgee will join together for a Zone Conference and Friendship Day at Wellington Memorial Soldiers Club on Thursday, April 23 from 10am.
VIEW stands for Voice, Interests and Education of Women and is a leading national Women’s volunteer organisation and support network that empowers women to have their voices heard on issues of importance for the future wellbeing of Australian society.
At the VIEW Convention to be held in Wollongong in September, four resolutions will be debated – one of which will be debated at our Zone Conference and Friendship Day by the debating team of Wellington High School.
An exciting agenda has been organised including a talk by The Smith Family Program Co-ordinator, Dawn Redding and entertainment by the Mudgee VIEW singers.
VIEW provides women with the opportunity to meet regularly with other women from all walks of life, establish lasting friendships and help disadvantaged Australian students through supporting the work of children’s charity The Smith Family.
VIEW continues to hold a unique place in society as the only national women’s organisation solely focused on supporting and advocating for young disadvantaged Australians in need.
We invite VIEW and non VIEW women to come and enjoy the friendship and camaraderie of the day, bookings are essential.
