Billy Dean Holloway of The Round Drive, Avoca Beach, pleaded guilty to the charges of reckless grievous bodily harm and Common assault (Domestic Violence)’.
The matters were sent to district court and a Pre-Sentence Report ordered by Magistrate Terry Lucas when he appeared in Mudgee Local Court on Wednesday (May 20, 2015).
Between 10.20pm and 10.30pm on Saturday, September 27, 2014, Holloway knocked a man unconscious on the footpath outside the Lawson Park Hotel.
He fled the scene and when one of his family members found him in Lue Road between 11.07pm and 11.20pm the pair got into an argument which resulted in Holloway tackling the victim to the road. Concerned residents called police.
The matter was first before local court on Wednesday, October 8, 2014.
Holloway is listed to appear for arraignment in Dubbo District Court on Friday, June 19, 2015, and is currently on bail.
