The Mudgee Polo Club is holding a ‘learn to play clinic’ for interested players to be held on Sunday, July 5.
Club officials are looking for horse enthusiasts to come and try the sport, with potential players not even needing a horse for the day.
If players do have a horse of their own and want to attend, a helmet and payment of $33 to cover insurance is all that is required.
Potential players without a horse are still more than welcome to attend and learn on the day with a fee of $150 payable for the use of a horse for the day.
Leading the day as guide and teacher is NSW Polo Association’s Senior Coach, Andrew Williams.
Basic polo techniques will be taught in the morning before another hour of coaching and some practise chukka’s to finish off the day.
To book your spot to find out more information about the day contact Naomi Rouse on 0439 448 840.
