Council spent a fortune on surveying the community and I don’t think they remember what the outcomes of the survey are: ROADS and gravel roads at that.

Council, you cannot continue to cut the gravel roads in maintenance grading as there is no gravel left only a clay base which becomes dangerous.
Why hasn’t council got a plan (as promised by councilors prior to election) for the sealing of bus routes?
If council added gravel each time a road was up for maintenance than in a couple of years, the pavement would be mostly completed making a seal project more cost effective.
Why can’t a plan be arranged that 1km of each bus route be sealed each year?
If we need funds, then get in the ear of the government rep and petition the community.
It is a bit embarrassing when a rate payer has to petition and get $10 million plus for Ulan Road and not the councillors or GM.
This is your job and you are taking a wage for it so perform, so spark up, councillors, and get some action going on our third-world gravel roads.
