The Cooks Gap businessman is one of the first in the region to join the fixed wireless NBN network.
“It really is outstanding,” Mr Munro said.
“We’ve had everything from satellite to 3G.
“We always struggled to get successful speed, you wouldn’t even think about watching a video on YouTube.”
Mr Munro is in the process of building a web based business that will require large files to be uploaded.

“They’ve proven to be a great customer focused organisation willing to go that extra mile even at a cost to themselves.”
“Now when we Skype there is no lag.”
Mr Munro’s property is one of 200 serviced by a tower constructed by NBN Co - the company delivering the National Broadband Network.
Cooks Gap, Gulgong, Cooyal and Dunedoo communities were part of the first rollout of the country’s fixed wireless network that started in May.
Since joining Mudgee based NBN service provider Harbour ISP, Mr Munro has used about 220 gigs of data on an unlimited plan – 14 times the amount he was allocated each month with another service.
“Their service stands out from the rest,” Mr Munro said of Harbour ISP.
“They’ve proven to be a great customer focused organisation willing to go that extra mile even at a cost to themselves.”
Mudgee is scheduled to receive fixed wireless NBN in the fourth quarter of 2016.
Broombee, Coolah, Coolah South, Cooyal, Dunedoo, Eurunderee, Gulgong, Kains Flat and Yarrawonga should receive the service in the third quarter of 2016.
Fibre rollouts are expected to take place in Mudgee in the later part of 2016, Gulgong in the first part of the year and Rylstone/Kandos in the third quarter.
