A bus driver who was allegedly on his way to pick up children from a school near Mudgee has been charged with drink driving.

The 55-year-old driver was charged with mid-range drink driving after police stopped his bus about 3.15pm on Friday, February 5, on Caigan Street, Dunedoo.
The man was subjected to a roadside breath test and returned a positive reading.
He was taken to Dunedoo Police Station where he allegedly returned a positive breath test analysis reading of 0.09.
The man was charged with mid-range drink driving and his licence was suspended.
He has been granted conditional bail, to appear at Dunedoo Local Court on Friday, April 8.
