The golf day at the Mudgee Golf Club is the school’s biggest fundraiser for this year.
Committee members felt that they were so many keen sports families connected to the school that a sporting day would be appropriate.
They hope all local golfers will register a team, just for the fun of a good round of golf and a chance to win some great prizes.
Golf will be an Ambrose competition over 18 holes.
The entry fee is $30 per person, which includes a barbecue lunch.
The tee off time is 9am with the presentations expected to finish by 2.30pm.
Children are welcome to play in a team with an adult. To ensure plenty of fun and high spirits there will be some novelty holes on the day.
Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the Ambrose and the best dressed team. There will also be lucky door, Closest to pin and raffle prizes to be won. C&M Box hire are providing a tempting $200 prize for a Hole in One.
P&C President Jenni Buckley is delighted that so many businesses connected to CVPS and Mudgee Golf Club have thrown their support behind the day. “
We have had a wonderful response to our call for sponsors and donors. It is really appreciated by the committee and the school.”
All funds raised on the day are used by the Cudgegong Valley Public School P&C to purchase equipment and resources for the school.
You can register your team of four at the Golf Club Pro Shop in person or by phone on 02 6372 2686.
