Twelve students have completed the six month course, learning skills that will help them find jobs in the building industry.
Building the cubby houses helped them to improve their skills with hand tools. They also set out and levelled the concrete on which the cubby houses sit.
The cubby houses are available for sale to the general public.
Carpentry teacher Mark Wiseman said many of the students have already found jobs as a result of the course.
Places are still available in the next Certificate II in Construction course which begins at the Mudgee TAFE next semester. The course will be held in conjunction with a course on skills for education and employment.

Potential employers are also invited to contact the TAFE.
