Having already turned the Mudgee Newsagency into the Whyhope Pharmacy and renamed the Mudgee Guardian the Whyhope Gazette, the crew this week turned their attention to Market Street.
Whyhope is well prepared to civic mischief, with their council chambers sitting alongside the police station.
The Mudgee Library became the Whyhope District Council and Dear, Loneragan and Hogan Solicitors next door doubled as the police station.
Even the posters outside the Town Hall Theatre were changed to promote ‘Whyhope’ events.
‘Doctor’ is also doing its bit to combat local obesity, with local extras briskly matching up Market Street and back again throughout the afternoon.
