Mudgee’s Dance Unlimited has been invited to dance in the upcoming Eisteddfod Dance of Champions in Sydney on September 18.
In a post on Facebook, Tanya Keenan, Dance Unlimited’s Principal, announced the invitation.
“Selected dancers from across the Eisteddfod are invited to attend and Dance Unlimited received nominations from all four dances that were entered!
“We want to extend a HUGE congratulations to the Opens (Modern, Jazz, Contemporary) and 14 Years (Modern) Performance Groups on this massive achievement.
“Thank you so much to everyone involved. Kurt for his artistry and beautiful choreography, Haley, Luke, all DU parents and supporters, but most of all to our stunning students who have more than exceeded expectations. WOW,” she said.
The Open Modern has been chosen to represent Dance Unlimited in the major event. One entry per studio is accepted.
The Eisteddfod will be televised on Channel 10, we will post more details when they come.
