This was the second annual trivia night for the cause, following 2015’s popular event, and once again attendance was strong and competition was fierce.
Questions ranged from intricate items of local knowledge to randomly selected Trivial Pursuit cards.
The evening raised just over $4000, through entry fees and an auction of goods donated by local business houses, including a jug by local potter Chester Nealie that fetched nearly $500.
“It was a very very successful night,” said Ray Hall.
“Everyone really enjoyed it.”
The volunteers behind the museum are currently working on the restoration of the ‘American Tobacco Warehouse and Fancy Goods Emporium’, having completed the facade of the neighbouring ‘Greatest Wonder of the World’ building.
