The series follows Rodger Corser (formerly of Underbelly) as Hugh Knight, a heart surgeon and party boy banished to the “one horse town” of Whyhope, to be re-united with his scheming mum, his troubled dad and ex-girlfriend.
Also in the cast are Nicole da Silva, Ryan Johnson, Hayley McElhinney, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Tina Bursill, Chloe Bayliss and Dave Eastgate and a host of local extras.
Mudgee – in the role of “Whyhope” – provides the backdrop to the drama as Knight “learns to swallow his pride and mend his ways”.
Local streets were closed for filming in recent months at locations including Market Street and Perry Street and the Mudgee Town Hall doubling at the Whyhope District Council.
