The 26-10 result to the Dragons turned around the previous heavy loss recently suffered by the Dragons at home.
Not so shocked however, were Dragons supporters who were confident of a big showing by the youngsters due to their committed approach to the season from early February.
The Under 18s travel to Orange to take on minor premiers Orange CYMS in the qualifying final this Sunday.
The 18s are yet to defeat CYMs this year despite two very close encounters, but will go into Sunday’s match at full strength.
Despite this the boys remain very confident and believe in their preparation under Coach Hamish Bryant who has them firing on all cylinders at the right end of the season.
