Mudgee Dance studio wins $3000 Dance of Champions prize

Mudgee Dance Unlimited was a hit with the audience at Sunday’s City of Sydney Eisteddfod Dance of Champions on Sunday, winning the $3000 second prize in the audience vote. 

The 17 best dance groups  from the City of Sydney Eisteddfod were invited back to perform in the Dance of Champions.

Dance Unlimited’s  open modern team performed an original lyrical piece choreographed by former student Kurt Dwyer-Williams, which won the 

The winning People’s Choice Award went to Pymble Ladies’ College and the Canberra Dance Development Centre was the $5000 overall prize winner. 

The Sydney Eisteddfod Dance of Champions will be screened on WIN TV on Sunday, October 16,  at noon.
