Seventy stallholders lined Church and Markets Streets in the Mudgee CBD to serve the region’s best food and wine on Saturday evening.
The Mid-Western Regional Council event continues to grow every year and 2016 was no exception with more than 9000 people attending the festival.
This year the event area was extended to accommodate the expected increased attendance.
Mid-Western Regional Council general manager Brad Cam said council was extremely proud of the positive contribution the event makes to the local economy and its increasing reputation as a key event on the regional food and wine events calendar.
“It’s great to see the community embrace this Council event that celebrates the best the region has to offer while increasing tourist numbers,” Mr Cam said.
“Thank you to the businesses, stallholders and volunteers involved in making Flavours of Mudgee 2016 a major success.”
