Stalls will also feature bric-a-brac, books, pre-loved clothing, household items, plants, seeds and collectibles as well as the popular sausage sizzle.
The twice yearly market adds an extra dimension to the historic atmosphere of the town. Money raised by some of the stalls will benefit the residents, and local causes, including the Public School. It also helps to maintain the work of the Hill End & Tambaroora Gathering Group and Hill End Family History.
There is always the opportunity for a bargain, but this October there will be even more of a chance as some of the stalls will be having a real “Clearance Sale”.
“Some of our members have recently moved into retirement villages and have had to part with cherished objects,” convenor Lorraine Purcell or the Hill End & Tambaroora Gathering Group said.
“It is amazing what treasures they have they have donated to our stall, so that someone else can have the pleasure of owning then for a time,”
