Veteran Brian Wilkins led the field with 36 points off his 5 handicap.
Brian birdied the 15th and 16th holes, then promptly bogied the last two.
Andy Gay was runner up with 33 points.
Nearest the pins went to Andy Gay on the second and seventh holes, Drew Pirie on the eleventh in A grade and Gary Moore in C grade and Kel Wilton on the seventeenth.
Glen Barker and Brian Wilkins won the 2 ball event with 39 points. Balls went to 29 points and the course rating was 74.
Saturday and dry weather saw 63 entrants in the monthly medal stroke event and course superintendent Jason Seis used all his local knowledge for a net 68 for a 5 shot victory in A grade.
Drew Pirie was next on 73, edging out Mark Hale on a countback.
B grade went to Nathan Hill with a fine nett 67, also a 5 shot winner over James Hickey with a nett 72.
A big congratulations to James (pictured) for his sweetly struck 6 iron on the fourth hole for a hole in one.
Visitor, Paul Garnett from Robina Woods was third with a nett 73.
General Manager Ray Duncan was first in C grade with his nett 68, once again a 5 shot margin over Jeff Bourke with Noel Stanford third on nett 75.
Not surprisingly James Hickey won nearest the pin with that shot on the fourth, Darren Gilroy on the seventh, Jason Seis on the eleventh in A grade, Peter Jamieson in B grade, James Anderson in C grade and Peter Jamieson again on the seventeenth.
Now and again a golfer wins two nearest the pins in the same round, but rarely are they both within a metre.
The course was rated at 72 and balls went to 76.
On the long weekend Mark Hale defends his 2015 Mudgee Open victory.
Mark was runner up in the recent Parkes and Dubbo opens in the last two weeks and anyone with thoughts of victory has to contend with him.
