Cello Concerts in Historic Churches of NSW is back at the Ilford Church (former Uniting) on Sunday, November 6 with George Mertens on cello and Heathcliffe Auchinachie on guitar. They will be playing Ave Maria, Spanish Romance Vivaldi and Villa-Lobos. The concert gets underway at 3pm and exit is by donation. Visit www.georgcello.com.

Pop in for playgroup
The Pop in Playgroup is on every Wednesday from 10am-12midday at the Rylstone Uniting Church Hall. Cost, gold coin donation. Refreshments for children and parents are available. Storytime at library
It’s Storytime for kids at Kandos Library with Bookworms on Fridays for three to five year old children and their parent or carer. It’s on from 10am until 11am. Please see library staff for more information and an enrolment form. Open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.30am-1pm and 2pm-5pm. Saturdays from 9.30am-12.30pm. Call 6379 4465.
Aqua Fitness
Aqua Fitness is commencing on Tuesday, November 8 at 10am at the Kandos swimming pool. It will run every Tuesday at 10am and also Thursdays at 4.30pm. Cost is pool entry. Registration forms are available from HealthOne Rylstone and need to completed and returned prior to commencement.
Charity shop’s 1$ sale
The Kandos Community Charity Shop is having a sale until the end of October. Call in and choose an item for just $1. The shop which has donated many thousands of dollars to the community is also holding an aluminium can drive to raise funds for their building fund. You can drop your cans into the shop in Angus Avenue, Kandos.
Live country music
Lenny Teelow will be performing live country Music at the Ilford Hall this Friday, October 28 with all proceeds going to Kandos Rylstone Kids and Carers. Starts at 7pm with a sausage sizzle at 6pm. Tickets $20 at the door with kids under 16 free.
