The Mudcrabs Men's open team lost their opening encounter to Newcastle City Knights (20s) 6-1.
They bounced back with a healthy 9-1 win over Doyalson Dragons (2) in Round 2.
But went down to Orange Thunder 5-4 in a tight third round clash.
They enjoyed a 7-4 win over Port Hunter Marauders in Round 4.
After the fifth round bye, Wollongong Devils (1) were too good for them in the sixth 8-1.
Before finishing with a loss to the Beresfield Bandits 7-2.
The Mudgee Men's 40s lost their opening round match to the Wallsend Wolves 14-nil.
A closer loss to Newcastle City Knights, 8-1, followed in Round 2.
The Nelson Bay Neptunes dominated their third round match 12-2.
After the Round 4 bye they were downed by Maitland Rebacks 6-1.
