The Mudgee Liquor Accord will hold a bowls day and barbecue at Club Mudgee this Sunday to raise money towards CCTV security cameras at the Mudgee taxi rank.

Mudgee Liquor Accord president Paul Osseweyer said a proposal for security cameras to had been made to Mid-Western Regional Council.
The Liquor Accord will contribute to the cost of the camera, estimated at around $22,000, to show that they are willing to support move to curb anti-social behaviour.
The cameras will help local police to keep the area safe, especially at night.
The Bowls and Barbecue Fundraiser will be held at Club Mudgee on Sunday.
Doors open at noon with the first game at 1pm and the final at 4pm.
Bowlers can win a $300 cash prize or prize vouchers to be awarded throughout the day.
Kids can come along and enjoy a jumping castle and playground.
