Heading into its eleventh year, Club Mudgee is again the major sponsor of the program and are proud to be giving back to the community and investing in the leaders of our future.
Max Potential is also strongly backed by local businesses and individuals, many of which invest for several years running.
The value that businesses get in terms of developing the leadership and management potential staff has a ripple effect throughout their organisation that enhances profit, productivity, customer satisfaction, communication and staff performance.
Club Mudgee has had several staff participate as community coaches over the years. This allows for a common understanding between staff of the language, skills and tools around coaching and leadership development that assist in providing better outcomes in the workplace.
Max Potential Program Manager Fiona Brown said Max Potential is a program that provides a win-win for all involved.
“Coaches consistently tell me they never expected to get as much out of Max Potential as they do each year and that they wish Max Potential had been around when they were a young adult,” she said.
“To participate as a community coach all you need is an interest to help out young adults. Coaches are given comprehensive training, ongoing coaching support through individual coaching sessions and 24/7 support from start to finish.
There are many young adults from our four participating high schools who are keen to be a part of the program and for them all to be excepted a coach is needed for each one of them.”
Recruitment is now underway for the 2017 Max Potential program. Interested local businesses and community members are invited to come along and find out how to support or be a part of next year’s program.
An information session will be held at Club Mudgee on Wednesday, November 30, 6pm-7pm at Club Mudgee.
Past coaches and young adults will be there to share their stories.
