Committee members of Rylstone StreetFeast got together at Na Lan’s Yum Cha café for dinner and a brief discussion of this year’s event last week.

During the gathering, StreetFeast president Diane Quaife thanked everyone for their support.

“Firstly, thank you all for attending StreetFeast 2016,” Diane said.

“With your support and the generosity of sponsors, stallholders, and other patrons, just over $10,000 was able to be donated to community groups this year.

“Given that StreetFeast’s primary purpose is to promote the Rylstone Kandos region, to be able to raise and distribute a small amount of money at the end of the day is most pleasing.”

“To plan and make decisions about next year’s event we would like your feedback on all aspects of the event, including the food, the entertainment, and the stalls.

“We would also like to look at the availability of local accommodation and transport to the event.

“Can we provide more help with this?

“So please take the time to let us know your thoughts by emailing us at rylstonestreetfeastsecretary@gmail.com.

“Finally, on behalf of the StreetFeast committee, we wish you and your families a happy, healthy and safe festive season and New Year.”

This year’s StreetFeast was attended by visitors from as far away as Norfolk Island, with more than 300 guests sitting down to the Long Lunch in Louee Street.
