This is an annual event with Legacy delivering these parcels each year around this time.
Adding to a busy week for Legacy will be a certificate presentation to 22 Kandos High School students who volunteered to assist Legacy on their main fundraising badge day on September 2 this year.
Legatee Barbara Eordogh said Legacy appreciates their help and were impressed by their outstanding efforts to raise money for local widows and their families.
“They are a credit to their parents, school and the community they represent,” Barbara said.
The presentations will be made during the school assembly on Thursday morning.
Legacy is a voluntary organisation providing services to around 80,000 families of veterans who have died or given their health. It is supported by volunteers drawn from all walks of life.
