David Raymond Benson, aged 39, of Boronia Road, Rylstone, was also disqualified for an additional two years.
At about 12.20pm on Friday, August 12, 2016, Benson was stopped by police on the Lue Road in order to conduct a random breath test.
The roadside test was negative, however when he was asked to produce his licence he said he was suspended and handed over a photo card as identification.
A check revealed that Benson was disqualified from September 30, 2011 until 2039.
Due to the number of drive while disqualified offences he was declared a habitual offender.
Magistrate Terry Lucas told the defendant, “by my reckoning this is the eighth disqualification on your record, if there’s a ninth you’ll be walking out of here with the police”.
