For their first Christmas concert, the Cudgegong Choir has chosen traditional Christmas music, such as O Come All Ye Faithful and Silent Night, Australian Christmas carols, and extracts from Benjamin Britten’s choral work, A Ceremony of Carols.
The music will be interspersed with recitations from Christmas themed works from writers such as Charles Dickens.
The audience will be invited to join in the finale, O Holy Night.
The concert in the beautiful setting of St Mary’s will feature 52 musicians and singers.
Tickets are $20 adult, $15 concession and children $5, available at the door.
