The Mudgee Guardian has experienced some exciting changes over the last 12 months, so for the next few weeks we will introduce you to our team.
This edition meet Jackie White – Classifieds and Administration or Master of first impressions.
Why the Mid-Western region?
We moved to the Region from Penrith, as my Partner Justin got work with Ecological Australia.
How long have you been in the region?
We have been in Mudgee since July 2016. We absolutely love the area and do not miss the stress and hussle/bussle of the Sydney life.
What are your favourite things to do on the weekend?
We love to visit wineries and eat out. My favourite dinner out is at The Wineglass. They have a share platter of slow roasted lamb which is amazing. It serves with home made gravy and seasonal vegetable. If you haven’t tried it – it’s a must.
We also like heading to Roths Wine bar after work.
Favourite memory of the region?
Around three years ago we bought some land an hour out of Mudgee as a weekender to get away from Sydney and have some peace and quite.
Driving through Mudgee we fell in love with the place and thought how nice it would be to live in Mudgee some day. Well here we are today.
What was your previous job?
My last job was working for an Aluminium Company in Sydney (Erskine Park) selling Industrial / Building material. I dealt with Architect, Builders and trades people.
Favourite thing about working at the Guardian?
I work with an amazing team and also love meeting and getting to know people in the local community.
What do you do at the Guardian?
I am the Classifieds / Administration person. That means I’m your go-to person for booking all of the classified ads like garage sales, deaths and funerals, return thanks, positions vacant, public notices, adult services and things for sale.
I also look after the front desk, so I’m the first person you’ll meet when you call or pop into the Guardian.
If you would like to book a classified advertisement please give Jackie a call on 6372 1455 or email: email@example.com
