Meg Sheridan and Sarah Quayle are Speech Pathologists based at Rylstone Health One. They visit fortnightly on Wednesdays and work with children from 0 to 12 years old as well as adults.

You or your child may be referred to a Speech Pathologist if you need help with:
- Swallowing and eating safely
- Saying speech sounds
- Talking (vocabulary, grammar and sentences)
- Understanding (following instructions and language comprehension)
- Early communication (babies/toddlers)
- Using alternative or augmentative communication (sign, pictures, visuals)
- Speaking fluently (ie stuttering)
- Skills needed for reading and spelling
How do I refer?
- Phone or drop into Rylstone Health One to fill out a referral form. The phone number is 6357 8150.
- Speak to your child’s school/preschool/day care to complete a referral that can be faxed to 6379 1254..
Street Machine Kandos
The Kandos Street Machine and Hot Rod Show is on at the Simpkins Park Sports Complex, Kandos on Saturday and Sunday, January 28 and 29 with stunning street machines, hot rods and plenty of action.
Saturday entry for adults is $25, children 11 to 15 years - $10 and family $60. Sunday entry for adults is $20, for children $10 and family $40. A weekend pass for adults is $40, for children $15 and family is $90. Children under 10 are free. Cash for trash
The Rylstone Kandos Street Machine Club is looking for a group to help collect rubbish over the two days of their Street Machine and Hot Rod Show on January 28 and 29 in exchange for a sizeable donation. Junior league
Kandos Rylstone JRL are holding trial training days for interested players 12 to 16 years January 21 and again on February 4 for interested players of all ages from 10am to 12pm. Registrations on February 9 and 11.
