Why so sudden?
Why him?
Why now?
Cameron Cox was struck by lightning on Tuesday afternoon at Moolarben and sadly passed away.
The 22-year-old was checking on his families stock when Mother Nature unleashed the deadly bolt of lightning.
The shock waves have been felt near and far – as we try and understand why Mother Nature could be so cruel.
Community members used social media to express their sadness and grief for the Cox family.
“So incredibly sad. As a father of a 22 year old, I cannot begin to imagine, nor would I want to even imagine the pain his family and friends are enduring at present. I hope they are comforted in knowing that total strangers are sharing their grief. Rest In Peace, Cameron.”
