WILDLIFE: Mudgee Vet Hospital is on standby for fire affected animals.

Mudgee Vet Hospital is on standby to treat and assess injured wildlife from the devastating fires in our region.

Veterinarian, Paige McQueen said we’re expecting quite a few injuries and casualties from the fires.

“If you see injured animals, please bring them to the vet, or if you can’t pick them up, we can put you in touch with a wildlife carer.

“We’re able to provide treatment for all animals – wildlife, pets and stock,” she said.
