Alesha Bennetts, Ameila Browning, Ethan Harrison, Kasey Hayes and Chloe McGilvray all took gold at the event, with Chloe impressively taking one of each gold, silver and bronze for her sprints.
Bennetts joined the silver ranks with her long jump, along with Charlotte Brown, Flynn English, Ethan Harrison (shotput), and Hayes (100m sprint), Rachel Marshall and McGilvray (1500m).
Browning rounded out her medals with a bronze in javelin, while Bede Smeallie and Georgina Stanley locked third place as well, while Zachary Marsh secured bronze at the carnival for the u17s triple jump.
The senior girls relay team – Bronte Comincioli, Tayla Riley, Mia Baggett and Alesha Bennetts – narrowly missed out on the gold in their race.
The junior girls placed as well, securing bronze in the 4x100m relay, with the team made up of Kasey Hayes, Charlotte Brown, Rachel Marshal and Eliza English.
All athletes achieving a gold or silver medals now progress to the NSW State Championships to be held at Olympic Park in March, meaning that Mudgee has 8 automatic qualifiers.
Those placing 3rd or 4th must wait for all regional carnivals to end before they can find out if their overall performances can take them to Olympic Park.
