The ladies of CWA Mudgee Evening Branch scooped the pool at the recent Mudgee Show in both Handcrafts and Cooking.

Janet deRooy was Most Successful Exhibitor in Handcrafts as well as winning five 1sts and four 2nd ribbons.
Barb Gow won Best Crochet as well as nine 1st and two 2nd ribbons in Handicrafts and Cooking categories.
Robyn Northam won 1st for a woollen shawl and 2nd in Alpaca for a shawl.
Annie Johnston won 1st for damper.
One of the junior members, Matilda Lewis won 1st for her huge pumpkin, as well as a 2nd for painting and two prizes for her cakes.
Junior members Charlie and Lachlan Wythes were also stars in junior Cooking each winning a 2nd prize.
Our members were volunteer stewards at the Mudgee Show and assisted in many duties.
The branch will next meet on Friday, April 7 at 1.30pm in the CWA rooms.
