The one-day car and motor-bike rally, held by Cudgegong Cruises Inc and volunteers from Can Assist, was held in Mudgee town on Saturday.
Organiser, Glenn Box said they had more cars than previous years, with 130 turning up and over 150 participants.
“The event creates a great boost for tourism in the region, with participants coming from all over and staying for the whole weekend.
“We had people from the Hunter Valley, Central Coast, and even Victoria.
The annual event, in its ninth year, raises money for the Cancer Assistance Network.
“We’re still waiting for some of the funds to come in, but at this stage we could probably say that it’s one of the best that we’ve had,” he said.
The event started from Parklands Resort, which provided extra space for the popular ‘Show n Shine’.
Next year, Can Cruise will celebrate the 10th year, so organisers are already planning for a big event in March 2018.
