Noel Raymond Thomson, aged 50, of Patrick Street, Dunedoo, entered Mudgee KFC at about 5.40pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
He became aggressive towards staff, yelling and swearing at them, before he was told to the leave and the police were called.
Officers found him sitting on the footpath near the Aldi.
He was clearly intoxicated; his speech was slurred; his actions were clumsy; and he continued yelling and swearing, all in-front of everyone in the vicinity.
Thomson’s legal-aid solicitor, Ms Miles, said her client was in town for alcohol treatment and began swearing at staff after a problem with his order.
Magistrate Terry Lucas told the defendant when releasing him from custody, “don’t go out and celebrate this afternoon”.
